For a long as Analeigh could remember she had been deeply involved in the Rivers Clan Affairs, so it had been no surprise to her six years ago when her father Nickolas Rivers has stepped down as clan leader and made her his successor. Not long after that Analeigh met James and they were great friends in till Analeigh fell in love with him, and soon became mates.
About two hundred years afterward a pack started to cause trouble and Analeigh was forced to deal with it... but she didn't, instead she decided that she would observe them for a little while longer, after all no one had been killed... That was when everything went wrong and a fight between Werewolves and Vampires broke out across her land. Ana had no choice but to join the fight, originally staying out to spare James the worry of her and their unborn child getting hurt or killed.
Analeigh was afraid if she didn't that the pack leader would kill everyone and she just couldn't allow it. Stepping onto that battlefield was horrible and she was overwhelmed with the urge to protect her clan, so she faced the pack leader... Safearia Shadows. Ana had made her fire attack Safearia but right as she was going to finished her off Safearia attacked her father. Analeigh could feel the pain and tried to get to her father but as soon as she got close enough her father was dead.
She began to fight off the grief after all she had to protect who she could. Ana tried to convince James to run but he refused and was killed as he tried to protect his Analeigh. When the battle was nearly over and only a few remained she distracted the werewolves by setting the field on fire, and escaped with her cousin Annabelle and her unborn child.
